Here at The National, we believe in supporting our local community and offering help whenever we can. That’s why we’ve decided to partner with FareShare Northern Ireland to help combat the increase in food poverty.
A Breakfast For A Breakfast
FareShare distributes 339 tonnes of surplus food across the north of Ireland yearly, they support 103 charity organisations and within 12 months they can deliver surplus food that creates 807,100 meals, feeding 12,000 people each quarter.
We’ve made a promise to offer 30p donations from every breakfast we sell. This will help FareShare increase the number of breakfasts it can provide to its charity partners dealing specifically with Children and the homeless.
We plan to offer an average of 5K financial aid over 12 months and with this, we can create 13,450 meals for vulnerable children and the homeless per year. If you would like to make a donation please contact FareShare through their website here:
